The name “Twee Bat” comes from the acronym TWBAT (Teachers Will Be Able To…) frequently found in professional development meetings and materials for teachers. For a podcast about teachers, well, it’s a natural fit.

Aside from being a teacher myself (and having done research with and about teachers in the past), I want to take a serious look at what this ancient profession looks like in today’s world. In one way or another, teachers shape all of our lives, so what is it like to be a teacher right now?

To begin, episodes will be twice monthly. Maybe, as we get going, they will become weekly!
